We will be having our spring callout on Friday the 20th at 6 pm! Rock Band 3, Stepmania, and more will be available to play with HUGE song libraries to boot. The usual rules and club information will be shared and we’ll have an extra 45 minutes or so to kick the semester off. In addition, we will be visited by a very special guest! Don’t miss it!!

1. As usual, we will not be meeting this Friday due to Fall Break. The rooms in Beering Basement are NOT reserved, and we won’t be there, but feel free to get together at someone’s place and play there.

2. On the Friday after Fall Break (10/14), we will be adding Audiosurf, Beat Hazard, and Osu! to our game lineup. Audiosurf and Beat Hazard are powered by YOUR music, so bring your DRM-free music (MP3, OGG, WMA, etc.) to play. In addition, bring any beatmaps for Osu! that you want, as my collection is not very extensive.

Due to equipment-related reasons, there will be no meeting on August 26th. The first unofficial meeting will be on September 2nd with the callout being on the following Friday (September 9th) at the special time of 6 PM.

If you’re a new person who happened across this webpage and you think you might be interested in playing some music-related games (or games in general, we’re thinking of adding new non-music games to the selection this year…like Super Smash Brothers), we’d definitely like to see you at the next meeting and/or callout. No worries if you think you’re too geeky or socially awkward or sucky at the games we have. This year our goal is to bring together as many gamers as possible so that we can all make lots of new friends…and have a ton of fun while we’re at it.

Prizes will be given away for the 5 winners and everyone present will enter to win a 6th Prize. Prizes will roughly be worth $20.

Two separate brackets. Both will be point based. Best 2 out of 3, if time permits.
• Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock: Singles bracket on expert difficulty.
• Rock Band 3: Teams of 4 on hard difficulty.

When: Friday, January 28th at 6PM

Where: Beering B222 (in the basement).  Normal meeting afterwards.
